From Greg M., our HMI Vice Chair and Region 3 Rep:
It was a great session. There is a lot of recovery in Salt Lake City. I appreciate the trust you have in me to represent our IG at Region.
Please note that Houston has the opportunity to host the Region III Assembly in Fall 2006. Other IGs may be interesed in hosting that time as well, so please consider this now and let's discuss and possibly decide on it during our next IG meeting on April 10.

HMI Region III Assembly Report
"12th Step Within" Committee
March 13,2004
Jan K.
This was the first assembly I have attended as an intergroup
rep in well over 7 years. It was a very meaningful experience.
I chose to be on the "12th Step Within" Committee, the pupose of
which is to "develop materials and programs for outreach to OA
members in relapse."
Our committee resolved to:
1) Obtain all reading materials published by WSO on the topic
"Relapse or 12th Step Within" and to familiarize ourselves
with all of it.
2) Contact all of the intergroups in Region III by phone
(each person on the committee was assigned 5-6 intergroups)
and ask if they are familiar with those materials; offer
assistance and inform of the speakers that Region III makes
available for workshops.
Our long-range goal is to begin developing materials to
assist sponsors. It is my task to contact:
1) Cen-Tex Bluebonnet
2) IG Galveston/Bay Area IG
3) Permian Basin IG
4) Paul Revere NE Texas IG
5) Rio Grande Valley IG
6) Big Country IG
