Richard will give Jan the names of some oldtimers who might be willing to come and speak. Jan will m.c. the event. Several speakers already have agreed to participate, but more are welcome. Unity Day – This will be held on February 24th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Oasis Club. This is a day dedicated to the 1st tradition. There will be a minute of silence to think about the unity of all of OA. As yet, there is no chairperson.

Spring Retreat – Helen volunteered to chair the event or to help with the business end of the retreat if Joe chairs it. Various locations for holding the retreat were discussed. One possibility is the Cenacle Retreat in West Houston. Richard will look into the cost of holding an event there. Jan mentioned Camp Allen for 2002. Roy suggested a location near Weimar. He will get more information regarding this locale. A motion was made and passed that Jan call and book the 2002 retreat at Camp Allen. She will also find out what commitment will be required.

World Service Intergroup Meeting List – Helen explained that when the directory goes on-line, meeting information will be published as follows: the day, time, and contact persons’ phone numbers for each meeting.

The meetings were divided among those present for contacting to update each meeting’s information and to ascertain who does not want to have her/his phone number published on the internet as the contact person for such meeting. These updates are to be brought back to the February HMI meeting. For those persons not wanting to have a personal phone number published, the Houston HMI phone number will be used. Helen suggested that this list be updated one time per year.
